Unsupported (No support crew required) - Solo, 2 Person, 4 Person (12 Hour Relay Option)

Per Person: 6 hour = $125 / 12 hour = $165 / 12hr Relay = $75.00 / 18 hour = $195

Adventure Xstream Summit County - 6hr, 12hr & 18hr

The Summit County race and in particular the Summit County area is the playground for so many athletes with its spectacular mountain biking and hiking trails, not to mention kayaking opportunities. Summit County includes Breckenridge, Frisco, Copper Mountain and Keystone... all world class resorts. The Summit County race will highlight some of the best trails the area has to offer. World class single track trails and breathtaking summits. Additionally the Summit County race will introduce adventure racers in each of the events....Sprint, 12hr and 24hr courses to the skill of orienteering. For those of you new to the sport, there is no longer any reason not to try an adventure race! We welcome you to Summit County.

The Adventure Xstream 18 Hour races as well as The Xstream Expedition are all races included in the Checkpoint Tracker National Points Series. Teams can accumulate points in their best 4 races in the national points series. An additional $10,000.00 is up for grabs in this national series. * Lake Paddle (10-12 miles)
* Mountain Bike (40-50 miles)
* Trail Run/Trek (10-15 miles)
* Inline Skates, Skate Skis or Kick Bikes (8-12 miles) - Relatively flat section this year. (Tentative Discipline)
* Orienteering (Orange Course Difficulty - 1-2 hours)
* UTM Plotting & Map Navigation

* Lake Paddle (~6-10 miles)
* Mountain Bike (~20-25 miles)
* Trail Run/Trek (~6-10 miles)
* Orienteering (Orange Course Difficulty - 2-3 hours)
* UTM Plotting & Map Navigation

Disciplines Included for the Summit County 6hr Adventure Race:
Note: RMOC members are eligible for a 10% discount for the Summit County Sprint race.

* Lake Paddle (~4-5 miles)
* Mountain Bike (~10-15 miles)
* Trail Run (~4-6 miles)
* Basic Navigation & Orienteering

*Each disciplines distance is given as a range for training purposes. Exact distances are not given so that the course will remain secret. Disciplines, distances and difficulty subject to change.

Approximate drive times to Summit County Race from:
Denver - 2 hours
Albuquerque - 7 hours
Salt Lake City - 7.5 hours
Las Vegas - 11 hours
Phoenix - 13 hours

Supported or Unsupported: For this event it is very easy to do it unsupported. For the Sprint and 12hr race the Start/Finish and all of the TA's are in the same location. So, you can have someone assist you in a TA if yo wish. For the 24 hour race all TA's except for one are in the same location, and we will transport your gear to it. Additional information will be posted to the race updates pages.

Colorado Search & Rescue Card
All participants are required to have a Colorado Search & Rescue card to participate in any of the Colorado AdventureXstream events. This card costs $3.00 and is good for one year. This card will pay for any Search & Rescue cost in Colorado. These cards will be available for purchase at racer check-in if you do not have one already. Volunteer Opportunities - Have family or friends coming with nothing to do? Put them to work. We are always looking for volunteers to help with the race. Volunteers who help for 8-12 hour shift receive a $100 race voucher that can be used by anyone. Have them fill out our volunteer application here.
